2018 Ford F-150 Cleveland GA

Work Hard and Play Harder in the New 2018 Ford F-150

The latest light-duty pickup didn't earn the mantle of one of the US's, and indeed the world's, best-selling full-size trucks on this or that feature alone, but on a winning combination comprising the whole package for Cleveland, GA tradespeople, project managers, and off-road enthusiasts alike.

Check out its prowess for yourself on the road and off the beaten path here at Jacky W. Jones Ford Inc., and we're sure you'll find it's the right choice for your towing and hauling needs.

For one, it's supremely rugged, a tradition going all the way back to its 1975 debut. Today, in regular and extended cab and large four-door SuperCrew configurations and offering 5.5-, 6.5-, and 8-foot bed sizes, it remains the model of durability. The 2018 F-150 body is heat-treated and hardened, built from high-strength, military-grade aluminum-alloy and to high-grade 6000-series specs -- the same used by the military and in heavy-industry applications. Plus, the fully boxed frame may be comprised of 78-percent-high-strength steel, but it's almost 700 pounds lighter than previous generations, making the full-size pickup just as agile as it is robust.

The new F-150 centerpiece, however, is still its capable powertrain, and for the new model year, you can find five of the most innovative engines yet to choose from. One's an optional 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8, putting out 395 horsepower in the service of best-in-class payload support of up to 3,270 pounds. Another is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost®, capable of 375 horsepower and which can tow up to 13,200 pounds. Both abilities are top-of-the-class and great for trailering anything from an off-road vehicle or dirt bike duo to a small camper. A third is a 250-horsepower, 3.0-liter Power Stroke® diesel, which churns out torque at a class-leading 440 pound-feet and makes possible excellent fuel economy up to 22 mpg in a city like Gainesville, GA, 30 mpg down the highway to Dahlonega, and 25 mpg combined between Clarkesville lights and the great wide-open. The fourth, brand-new in 2017 and going strong for 2018, is a second-generation 375-horsepower, 3.5-liter EcoBoost. Finally, and a favorite of the pros at Car and Driver magazine, you can find an available enhanced 325-horsepower, 2.7-liter EcoBoost.

Brains match the brawn to boot. Ford F-150 incorporates a host of passive and active safety features, from a standard AdvanceTrac® system with RSC®, or Roll Stability Control&#trade;, and curve control for even footing to driver-assist options galore for driveway-to-highway peace of mind. The latter range from adaptive cruise control with stop and go and a pre-collision assist system with pedestrian detection to lane-keeping and blind-spot information systems with cross-traffic alert, and more.

The interior's also ideal for a mobile office. You can stay connected and productive on the go thanks to the fingertip control afforded by an available SYNC® 3 infotainment system as well as an optional 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, voice activation for available navigation, mobile app access, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility for smartphone interface, among other features. You can even manage it all remotely using the FordPass app. Start your engine, lock or unlock your doors, locate a parking area ahead of time, compare fuel prices en route, get a key vehicle info readout, schedule a service appointment, enjoy the services of a personal FordGuide, and more.
